The Spring Tune

Composed for my Music and Literature for Children final at Berklee College of Music, "The Spring Tune" is a character study of Snufkin from pages 17-21 of "Tales of Moominvalley" by Tove Jansson. The track incorporates the three instruments found in Hyper Games' Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley video game - a harmonica, wooden recorder, and drum - into an original melody that explores the character Snufkin's traits: a bard, loner, anarchist, and enigma all rolled into one lovable persona.
