MY
STORY
From a young age, all I've ever wanted to do was make a difference through the music I write and stories I tell. My earliest compositions were for piano: an 8-bar medley for my PTA's Reflections Program, songs that I wrote in Finale Notepad 2009 with my neighborhood's jazz band, and an original piano composition, “Variazione”, which I debuted at my music studio's annual recital. Thanks to studying under such wonderful instructors as Kris Faatz, Juan Pablo Horcasitas, and Greg DeLuca, I was continuously encouraged to compose as I grew older. Throughout middle school and high school, I expanded my musical horizons beyond piano; highlights include playing trumpet in the award-winning Allentown Redbird Marching Band, performing in plays and musicals, and taking voice lessons from Brandon Motz and Corey Everly, who nurtured my vocal abilities. Joining the Allentown Redbird Choir led me to perform in several community fundraisers, competitions, and the prestigious New Jersey 2016 All-State Mixed Chorus. Moreover, singing in a group deepened my understanding of music as a universal language, capable of uniting people and fostering a sense of shared identity beyond individual experience.
As a vocal music scholarship student at Marist University, I continued my private vocal instruction with Bryan Lynch and Sarah Williams while also being a member of the University's Chamber Singers. I further explored writing music within Time Check, Marist's low-voice a cappella group, by arranging songs of various genres for gigs, concerts, and other performance opportunities. In May 2021, I composed an original song, "Keep On," for the group, themed around the question: "What would you do if you weren't afraid?" For me, that meant pursuing a music career and transferring to Berklee College of Music to study Contemporary Writing and Production. Berklee was the best academic institution I could have imagined for broadening my understanding of music, networking within a vast creative community, and hearing my own works performed by others: among them, my piano composition "Sincronie" premiered at Music by Young and Restless Composers at Berklee, an event held by Massachusetts General Hospital in April 2023. After graduating from Berklee with Summa Cum Laude honors in May 2024, I released my debut single, "Two Friends," in October 2024, posted the first-ever sheet music transcription for AndrewPlaysPiano's 26-minute-long "A SUPER Mario Piano Medley" in June 2025, and began teaching private piano and voice lessons to students of all ages on Long Island, New York.
Connecting with and empathizing with fellow musicians through my work makes me feel that I am contributing something meaningful to the world—something that can make a difference, establish community among musicians and listeners, and inspire them to reach their full potential. Furthermore, I believe music and the arts are vessels for inspiring change and progress. As I develop my professional platform, I am actively establishing a creative, safe space where people feel acknowledged, supported, and accepted. My arrangements, compositions, original songs, and produced works will strive to promote allyship, solidarity, and action against injustices in our society. I want to help people through the music I write and also spotlight the work of those from marginalized communities, giving them a platform to share their stories through music.
